His fearless approach and exceptional skill have solidified his reputation as a leading figure in the league of big wave surfers. We talk about his invitation and participation in the world's most prestigious big wave surfing event, The Eddie Aikau Big Wave Invitational, along with his passion for diving, snowboarding and what it takes to survive when taking part in all of these high-risk activities. But aside from being an extreme athlete, Russ is a kind soul and has a peaceful presence that is felt by all those lucky enough to spend time with him.
