Lux Trevis
In Episode 13 of Still Noise I catch up with musician, Lucas Trevisan or better known as Lux Trevis.
Lucas is a Brazilian-born, Sydney-based multi-instrumentalist known for his vibrant fusion of psychedelic groove, funk, jazz, and Afro-Latin rhythms. Growing up in Brazil, Lucas was immersed in a rich musical culture which laid the foundation for his eclectic sound, which he describes as "psychedelic groove"—a blend of funk, jazz, and samba influences. Whether crafting solo work or collaborating with others, he brings a gentle intensity and layered richness that reflect both his cultural background and his deep connection to music as a form of expression. In our conversation we talk about times on the road as a travelling musician, growing up in Brazil, his transition to Australia and he also sneaks in a few instrumental solos along the way.
